Need a writer?

Whether you need a few hundred words by Friday, a whole website rewritten or a second pair of eyes on a report before it goes out, I'd love to hear about it. I work with businesses, agencies and publishers of all sizes, in London and anywhere else with an internet connection.

The more you can tell me up front, the quicker I can give you an accurate quote. It helps to know:
  • what you need written, edited or proofread
  • roughly how long it is, or how many pieces there are
  • who it's for and where it will appear
  • your deadline
  • whether you have a style guide or examples of writing you like

I usually reply within one working day. If you're on a tight deadline, say so in the subject line and I'll do my best to get back to you sooner.

What happens next

  1. We talk about the job. Usually by email, sometimes by phone if there's a lot to cover.
  2. I send you a quote. Most work is priced per project or per thousand words, so you know exactly what you're paying before I start.
  3. I write, edit or proofread. You'll get the work on or before the agreed date, with one round of revisions included.
  4. You tell me what you think. Honest feedback makes the second draft - and the next project - better.
